These signs mark where it may be safe to pass another vehicle and where you cannot. Passing areas are based on how far you can see ahead. They consider unseen hazards such as intersections, driveways and other places a vehicle may enter the roadway.

No Passing. Pavement markings, along with these optional signs, show where you can not pass. A yellow pennant NO PASSING ZONE sign facing you on the left side of the road indicates the beginning of a no passing zone. Passing areas are based on how far ahead you can see. Where it is permitted to pass, you may do so only if it is safe.

Roundabout.
A roundabout intersection is ahead. Slow down as required by the speed restriction sign and follow the road rules for roundabouts.
Provides advance notice of a roundabout. Prepare to slow down and possibly yield.
